The Hu-Au XR Lab at Montclair State University
Hi! We’re an undergraduate and graduate-level research lab where we look into the affordances of extended realities (XR) for learning. This includes virtual, augmented, and mixed reality technologies (VR, AR, & MR). We are a part of the School of Computing and the Center for Education and Engaged Learning at Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey. We focus on the development and design of immersive digital experiences, games, and the practical aspects of implementing them in educational spaces. Through this site, our goals are to be a resource for K-12, higher ed educators, and instructional designers to be informed about VR/AR. Additionally, we will publicize relevant research that identifies the affordances of XR in education.
