Google Expeditions: A chance to get virtual reality into your classroom

For schools interested in jumping on the virtual reality (VR) bandwagon Google has a program for you. Google Expeditions Pioneer Program is a free program where schools can apply to test out a VR experience using the inexpensive Google Cardboard. Google Expeditions is a VR platform with over 100 journeys to different exotic places around the globe (and further!). All you have to do is go to the Google Expeditions website and apply for them to come to your school. Though I’m guessing the waitlist is pretty long, the  rewards could be immense! Imagine taking your students on a field trip to Mars or under the ocean without the obvious headaches of taking 30 children to outer space (Are we there yet!?!).
